Bengaluru Viral Video: With Woman On Lap Man Rides Bike In Busy Traffic, Arrested

Bengaluru: Performing stunts on busy roads is dangerous for both the individuals involved and other commuters, but to garner instant views on the internet, a new craze has become popular among youths. Several cases of couples engaging in Public Displays of Affection (PDA) on speeding bikes have been reported from various parts of the country. Recently, a couple went viral on the internet for performing a dangerous stunt on a Bengaluru road. In the clip, a woman can be seen sitting on a man’s lap while he is riding a bike. The clip has gone viral, prompting Bengaluru Police to take action against the couple.

The clip was also shared by the Bengaluru Traffic Police on X (formerly Twitter). According to the post, the stunt was performed on May 17 on the Bangalore International Airport road.

In the clip, a woman can be seen sitting one-sided on the rider’s lap with her hands wrapped around his neck. It is also visible in the clip that the couple was not wearing helmets.

”Hey thrill-seekers, the road isn’t a stage for stunts! Keep it safe for everyone, including yourselves. Let’s ride responsibly,” the tweet on X read.

Taking cognisance of the video, the Hebbal traffic police tracked the vehicle from its number plate and arrested the rider. Toward the end of the video, the text reads, ”Think safety, ride safely. Protect lives on the road. Bengaluru is a city to cherish, not a place to mess around.”

Since being shared the clip has accumulated over 22,000 views and received 356 likes. The clip also prompted netizens to express their thoughts with several asking the police to take action against both of them, and not just the driver.
