Isolated storms today, staying mild

The line of severe storms has now exited the area. We are watching an area of redevelopment in our northern counties during the morning hours. These storms should be on the weaker side. Another chance for a few storms later today may be more limited after last night's round of storms. Most of the storms stay north into Nebraska.

We will still be warm today with highs in the lower to middle 80s and that lasts for the first few days of the week. Additional storms are possible on Tuesday, with the better chance setting up to the east late Tuesday.

Most areas should quiet down and cool down a bit through the middle of the week with highs in the upper 70s both Wednesday and Thursday. However, another system brings a chance for scattered showers and storms by Thursday night into part of Friday. Some of the showers could linger into early Saturday before clearing out.
