Tottenham Hotspur set for double Harry Kane reunion
Tottenham Hotspur are set to face Bayern Munich twice in the space of a week following confirmation of a further friendly fixture.
The North Londoners revealed earlier this morning that they will take on the Bundesliga giants in South Korea as part of their participation in in the Coupang Play Series 2024, a collection of pre-season matches featuring a mix of elite clubs from Europe and Korea.
Heung-min Son will lead Tottenham in his homeland for the first time since being appointed club captain last summer with the fixture taking place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Saturday 3rd August.
Totttenham had already revealed they would take on Bayern Munich in a fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 10th August in the Malta Cup.
The double header could now see Tottenham come up against Harry Kane twice in the matter of a week for the first time since his departure.

The club record scorer left N17 last summer to join Bayern in a (£86.4m) deal plus add-ons having registered 280 goals in 435 appearances during his time at Spurs (BBC).
Tottenham will also face Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe on Saturday 27th July at the Japan National Stadium.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side finished their Premier League campaign yesterday with a 3-0 win at Sheffield United which secured a fifth-place finish and qualification for next season’s Europa League.
The Spurs first-team squad will round off the season with a post-campaign fixture against Newcastle United in Melbourne on Wednesday.

It is rare that a club would look to face the same team twice in quick succession during pre-season which certainly makes me think of whether the fixtures were agreed as part of the transfer negotiations which took Kane to Bayern last August.
Certainly for the second fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it will give fans the opportunity to see their former favourite and show their appreciation for the first time since his exit.
Kane will be in action for England at Euro 2024 this summer and given the tournament ends on July 14th, he would be expected to partake in both fixtures as part of Bayern’s prepararations for the season ahead.
The Bavarian side finished in third place in the Bundesliga behind Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart having suffered a surprise 4-2 defeat at Hoffenheim on Saturday.
