Just like many retailers, the discount store Aldi, too, has launched a series of new booze-free drinks in time for summer – and shoppers are spoilt for choice.

Whether your taste buds are after something more exotic with coconut or minty, the popular German brand offers a number of alcohol-free variations of popular alcoholic drinks.

According to bargain lovers on Facebook, Aldi customers can now get their hands on new sparkling flavoured mocktails – and those who’ve already tried them have described the beverages as ”amazing”.

Amongst the options are Vive Piña Colada, which will transport you straight to a sunny beach, surrounded by palm trees and coconuts.

The Vive collaboration with Aldi, which boasts bold colours and illustrations, also has come out with Vive Mojito Mocktail – a must if you love mint.

Other beverages to look out for next time you’re shopping at Aldi include Cosmopolitan Mocktail, as well as On The Beach Mocktail.

What’s more, not only are the drinks alcohol-free and sugar-free, the new mocktails are also low in calories, with Piña Colada being just 3cal per 250ml, as said by one Instagram user, Lindsey Willis.

The new booze-free range has already proven to be a major hit amongst customers, especially with the weather finally warming up.

The news were also shared on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, with more than 100 people racing to comments to share their thoughts, as well as tag their friends and family.

”These are lovely,” one person claimed, urging others to not sleep on the bargain find.

Someone else agreed, also raving about the alcohol-free tipples.

”I have these every year, they are delicious.”

”We will have to try them,” another told their pal.

”Can confirm the Pina Colada is amazing with white rum,” said a fourth, who’d added a little bit of booze to their cocktail.

However, whilst the reviews were mainly positive, not everyone was a a fan of the drink – which is said to retail for £2.49.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible

A disappointed Aldi shopper, for instance, advised other customers to steer clear of one flavour.

”On the beach is rancid, other 3 alright though.”

According to Fun Agency, who helped the brand create the delicious tipples, you can enjoy the drink as a ready-made mocktail – or add your favourite alcoholic spirit.
