Paresh Rawal ignites row, says people who don't vote should pay more taxes

Bollywood celebrities like Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty have emphasized the importance of voting in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Rawal urged citizens to exercise their voting rights, suggesting penalties for those who don't vote. Shetty echoed the sentiment, calling it everyone's responsibility. Other stars, including Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Esha Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Rajkummar Rao, Shriya Saran, Akshay Kumar, and Shobha Khote, were also seen casting their votes. The fifth phase of elections covers 49 constituencies across several states, including Maharashtra, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Ladakh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
