Joanne M. Schumaker: Farmer’s wife was teacher’s aide and community volunteer

Joanne M. Schumaker, a mother of five, teacher’s aide, and community volunteer from Oregon, died Tuesday at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania Township, less than a month after her husband of 71 years, Henry Schumaker, a farmer, also died. She was 90.
