"I hope all Mumbaikars exercise their right to vote," BJP candidate from Mumbai North Central Ujjwal Nikam

As the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections commenced, BJP candidate from Mumbai North Central, Ujjwal Nikam, urged all Mumbaikars to vote, considering it a festival in democracy. Nikam, known for his role as the prosecutor in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks case, expressed his intention to visit polling stations after a temple visit. The constituency, comprising six assembly segments, sees a contest between Nikam and Congress' Varsha Gaikwad, the Dharavi MLA. The state, with its 48 Lok Sabha seats, plays a significant role in the elections, with results expected on June 4.
