Voter Turnout: West Bengal sees highest voter turnout at 15%, Maharashtra lowest at 6% as of 9 am

Voting for the fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections began on Monday across 49 parliamentary constituencies in six states and two Union Territories, under tight security. Polling runs from 7 am to 6 pm, with voters in line at closing time allowed to cast their ballots. By 9 am, West Bengal had the highest voter turnout at 15.35%, while Maharashtra had the lowest at 6.33%.
