The Pacers took a victory lap by posting a video of a miserable Spike Lee during Game 7 blowout win against the Knicks

If there’s been one constant throughout the Knicks-Pacers playoff rivalry dating back to the 90s, it’s that award-winning filmmaker (and Knicks superfan) Spike Lee has been courtside for all of it.

And on Sunday, the Pacers particularly enjoyed seeing Lee in his saddest state.

The Knicks went into Game 7 in search of their first conference finals trip since 2000. And despite the injuries the Knicks have dealt with in the series, they had to feel good about their chances at home. The Pacers, though, had other ideas.

Indiana led by as much as 23 points. And while the Knicks were able to make it a six-point game in the second half, costly turnovers and Jalen Brunson’s fractured hand derailed that effort. And given that long history with Lee, this was how the Pacers’ Twitter/X account celebrated the win:

That’s just cold. But you know that Spike wouldn’t have been any more gracious than the Pacers if roles were reversed. Fans also had thoughts on the tweet.
