Hunter Schafer Pares Back With Custom Prada Pump Shoes at ‘Kinds of Kindness’ Photocall in Cannes
Hunter Schafer continues to make an impression down in Cannes, France.
In town for the 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals earlier today, the model-actress pulled out a custom pair of satin Prada pump shoes.
Schafer has been on a roll at Cannes: she arrived and straight off was spotted in a pair of Maison Margiela Tabi Mary Janes. She is a fan of the brand, having worn Tabi styles previously. She’s also been spotted in a pair of metallic blue slingback stilettos from Giorgio Armani.
The international film festival held in Cannes previews films, attracting A-list stars and studios from all around the world. Over the years, as a result, the red carpets for the event have become some of the most anticipated and highly watched red carpets. Schafer appeared in “Kinds of Kindness,” which premiered at the event. She worked alongside actors like Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe and more.
About the shoe
Schafer’s stylist and Interview magazine fashion director, Dara Allen, went custom for this style. Prada created a classic court pump in satin for the look.
The shoe features a pointed toe box and a heel height of likely three to four inches. The shoe gave a pop of color to the “Euphoria” actress’s otherwise all-white look. The star has a longstanding relationship with Prada, first appearing in the brand’s fashion shows before wearing it on red carpets.
Hunter Scafer’s shoe style
Schafer’s shoe style is eclectic. The performer spans from chunky boot styles like Monolith’s brushed leather boot to pump heels. In addition to her relationship with Prada, she’s also often seen in shoes from Margiela. While recently this included the Mary Jane Tabi, earlier this year she wore a Margiela Tabi-style pump for THR’s 2024 Power Stylists event.
