Jon Rahm and Ludvig Aberg were among the favorites to win the PGA Championship. Instead they missed the cut and head home early.
As Friday afternoon became Saturday morning at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, the PGA Championship was still looking to see who would officially make the cut for the second major of the year. After delays kept the second round from starting on time Friday, a thick fog again delayed the start on Saturday until 9:40 a.m. ET.
Once the final few golfers finished their 36 holes, the cut was set at one-under par and a number of big names were eliminated from play.
These were the most shocking players to miss the remainder of the weekend.
