Fifty dead in heavy rain, floods in central Afghanistan, official says

At least 50 people are dead in central Afghanistan due to heavy rain and flooding in Ghor province, including Feroz-Koh. Thousands of houses and shops were destroyed or damaged. Flash floods hit northern Afghanistan. A helicopter crash involving the Afghan air force occurred during recovery efforts.
