Royals vs. Athletics Friday game thread
The boys are back in town!
The Royals head back home tonight for a six-game homestand, starting with a weekend set against the Oakland A’s. It’s Cole Ragans day, but he’ll look to bounce back from a seven-run outing in his last start. The lineup hasn’t scored more than four runs in a game since last Thursday against the Angels.

The A’s are starting reliever Mitch Spence, so expect a bullpen game. Brent Rooker and Shea Langerliers have combined for 19 home runs this year, and the A’s overall have the fourth-most home runs.
