Cassie's Husband Alex Fine Speaks Out After Diddy Hotel Assault Video is Released
Cassie‘s husband is breaking his silence after the hotel security footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulting her is released.
On Friday (May 17), CNN obtained a video from back in 2016 of the 54-year-old music mogul assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie, 37, in a hotel as she seemingly tried to escape him.
After the video was released, Cassie‘s husband Alex Fine, who she married in 2019, released a statement slamming “abusers.”
Keep reading to find out more…“Letter to women and children, Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men,” the 31-year-old personal trainer shared in a letter posted on Instagram.
“As men violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved,” Alex wrote. “Hold the women in your life with the upmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women.”
He continued, “To all the survivors, find the men and women who help and love. To all the survivors, your stories are real, and people believe you. To all the survivors you’re not all alone, and there are men and women who care only for your well being and safety.”
“We want you to succeed and flourish. To all the women and children, I’m sorry you live in a world where you’re not protected, and you don’t feel equal,” Alex added. “I want to raise my daughters in a world where they are safe and loved.”
Alex concluded, “To the abusers, you’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you’re so miserable with yourself that d—h would be considered a kindness.”
In the caption of the post, Alex wrote, “Wrote this awhile back but the words ring true not just today but everyday. I want my kids and every kid to live in a world that’s safe for women and girls, protects them and treats them as equals. To the women and children, you’re not alone, and you are heard. if you need help call the domestic violence hotline at (800) 799-7233.”
If you forgot, Cassie accused Diddy of rape and abuse in a lawsuit filed back in late 2023.
They settled the case outside of court one day after the lawsuit was filed. However, Diddy‘s legal team maintained that the settlement was not an “admission of wrongdoing” on his part.
Diddy has not yet publicly addressed the video.
