As a one-stop shop for outdoor gear, REI offers everything from running shoes and hiking boots to tents and kayaks. Just in time for warmer weather, REI’s Anniversary Sale is starting today, with discounts across the retailer’s many categories. There are steep savings on the brand’s in-house Co-op label, as well as name brands like Thule, Keen, and The North Face.

You don’t have to be a member to take advantage of the deals, but there are extra perks if you are part of the Co-op. You can take 20% off one full-priced item, as well as an extra 20% of an on-sale outlet item with the code ANNIV24 until May 27. If you’ve set foot in an REI, you’ve probably already heard the pitch, but a membership really is worth it. A lifetime membership costs $30 and includes benefits like member-only discounts, free shipping, and up to 10% back on eligible purchases that can be spent on anything in the store.

REI has skipped Black Friday sales since 2015, making the Anniversary Sale the best time to score discounts. But with hundreds of items on sale in every category, the options are overwhelming. We’ve rounded up 15 of our favorite deals on items big and small, all of which are available to members and non-members alike. This sale ends on the 27th, but that doesn’t mean all of these items will stay in stock until then, so act fast.
