Arjun Tendulkar Replaces Jasprit Bumrah in MI’s Playing XI For IPL 2024 Match vs LSG

Mumbai: With it being the final game of IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians have rested ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah for their clash versus Lucknow Super Giants on Friday at the Wankhede. Arjun Tendulkar has replaced the premier pacer. MI captain Hardik Pandya won the tos and opted to bowl first as he believes the Wankhede is a good chasing ground.

“Chasing is better in Wankhede. It comes on nicer in the evening. It’s always about playing for the badge, playing for pride – all those words are important in the group. We know where we stand. But ending the season playing good cricket will always be appreciated. It gives us more freedom maybe to go out there and express ourselves,” Hardik said at the toss.

This is a big opportunity for Arjun to impress. He is in all probability share the new ball with Nuwan Thushara. MI will be in the search for an early wicket just to set the tone of the match.
