Bobby Brazier lands EastEnders spin-off series with soap legend ahead of long-awaited Walford return
BOBBY Brazier has bagged himself his very own EastEnders spin-off series as he continues to be TV’s most in-demand up and coming star.
The actor and model, 20, has won legions of fans thanks to his performance as the cheeky Freddie Slater in BBC soap opera EastEnders.
His role has seen him bag a coveted National Television Award as well as critical acclaim and now he is set to portray the role in a brand new spin-off series as he heads back to Walford as Freddie.
Freddie has been off-screen since October of last year as a result of Bobby’s other work commitments on Strictly Come Dancing and filming upcoming Paramount+ show, Curfew.
Now he is back with EastEnders legend Mo Harris, played by Laila Morse, ready to cause more havoc in Albert Square.
But before they make it there, Freddie and Mo’s antics will be shared via a brand new digital-only spin-off series being released on social media.
The new show will chronicle Freddie and Mo before their plans to move back to Walford after he has spent time living with her in her caravan.
Over the course of six mini episodes, viewers will get a unique glimpse into Freddie’s daily life through a series of personal vlogs.
The social media aspect of the show will be heavily incorporated as fans will watch Freddie take on trending TikTok challenges as well as pranking Mo all in the hopes of seeing his followers rise.
It will further expose the close relationship between him and Mo before they head back to the chaos of the Slater household.
The series will also see him open up on the challenges surrounding his ADHD diagnosis as he does his best to educate Mo on his condition during heart-warming moments.
Freddie in turn will hope that these conversations will provide a good talking point among his social media followers.
The spin-off series can be seen across all of EastEnders official social media accounts.
Next week, Freddie and Mo will be firmly back in the heart of the Square and it won’t be long before he finds himself playing cupid on the BBC soap.
Noticing the obvious chemistry between exes Kat and Alfie, Freddie will do all he can to see them reunite as a couple.
But will his matchmaking skills prove successful or could they actually end up in disaster?
The six-part mini-series premieres today on the official EastEnders TikTok, Instagram and Facebook pages, and Freddie and Mo’s return to Walford will air on Monday 20th May on BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
