Torquay United away added to Exeter’s pre-season friendly list

Torquay United away at Plainmoor on Tuesday 30 July has been added to Exeter City’s pre-season friendly list. Kick off will be at 7.30pm.

Torquay United finished 18th in the National League South last season having been deducted 11 points for going into administration. The Club have new owners and will be hoping to start climbing the leagues, and will hope to impress their League One neighbours.

Despite losing out to Torquay in last summer’s friendly clash, The Grecians went on to enjoy a superb finale to 2023/24, with Gary Caldwell’s men suffering just one defeat in their final ten outings on their way to a highly-respectable 13th place finish.

The full list of confirmed friendlies is now:-

• Weston-Super-Mare the Optima Stadium on Friday 12 July at 7pm.
• Mousehole at Trungle Park on Monday 15 July at 7pm.
• Yeovil Town at Huish Park on Friday 19 July at 7.30pm.

Exeter City also anticipate a friendly at St James Park on Saturday 3 August, but haven’t as yet announced the opposition team.
