Ballston Spa woman charged with Leandra's Law

BALLSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Ballston Spa woman was arrested and charged with Leandra's Law Tuesday night after a crash in the town of Ballston. Haley Czwakiel, 27, was pulled over around 9:10 on Saratoga Road.

Saratoga County Sheriff's Office deputies say they responded to a property damage crash on Saratoga Road Tuesday evening. An investigation led to the arrest of Czwakiel. She is accused of driving while intoxicated and having a child 15 or younger in the car.

Charges:

• Aggravated DWI
• DWI
• Unclassified misdemeanors

Czwakiel was released on an appearance ticket. She's set to return to the Ballston Town Court at a later date.
