TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Tri-City ValleyCats and Built2Win will host the fourth "518 Futures High School Baseball Classic" on Thursday, June 6. Tickets are available online.

Gates will open at 4 p.m. with the Home Run Derby starting at 4:30 p.m. The game is slated to start at 6:30 p.m.

The game will showcase high-level talent from high school baseball players with the potential to be drafted or play at Division One colleges after graduation. Each team will have players from schools across New York's Section Two.

A committee of coaches, officials, and local media will make the rosters. According to Adam Cohen, Media Relations Coordinator and Broadcaster with the Tri-City ValleyCats, the 518 Futures Game featured several players drafted in the 2022 MLB draft such as Michael Kennedy (fourth round, Pittsburgh Pirates) and Gavin Van Kempen (20th round, St. Louis Cardinals) who did not sign and is attending West Virginia University.
