Tamil Nadu among best states for economic zone: DP World CEO

Global logistics company DP World has opened its second free trade warehouse zone in India, Chennai, which is one of the most industrialised states in the country. The Chennai facility, which spans over 6 lakh sq ft, is expected to grow to 2 million sq ft. The new economic zone will cater to sectors such as auto, electronics, IT, telecom, healthcare, chemicals, and petrochemicals, providing them with a strategic base in the Indian subcontinent.
