Bengal: Four killed as car collides head-on with bus, Mamata Banerjee announces ex-gratia

Four people died in a head-on collision between a bus and a car on NH 116 in Marishda, Purba Medinipur. CM Mamata Banerjee expressed condolences and promised compensation. The car occupants were declared 'brought dead' at a nearby hospital. Police are investigating the possibility of the car driver being intoxicated and will review CCTV footage.
