Upcoming Route 7 lane closures announced in Rotterdam

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Department of Transportation announced that traffic on State Route 7 (Curry Road) in Rotterdam between Fort Hunter Road and Hamburg Street will be reduced to one-lane this weekend to allow for utility work. The lane closures will be in place from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both May 18 and 19.

Travelers should expect delays while work is underway. Drivers are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in work zones.
