SUNY New Paltz hosting four undergrad ceremonies

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The 2024 SUNY New Paltz commencement ceremonies will be in the air-conditioned Athletic and Wellness Center this weekend. The undergraduate ceremonies are split into two commencements on Saturday and Sunday.

The graduate ceremony is Friday, May 17, at 6 p.m., and the undergraduate ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday are split between the morning and afternoon. The four ceremonies ensure enough time for all students to walk the stage.

More information about the commencement ceremonies can be found on the SUNY New Platz website. Guests must have a ticket to attend the ceremonies, and anyone without tickets can watch the ceremony in Lecture Centers 100 and 102.

Ceremonies

• Saturday at 9 a.m.: College of Liberal Arts & Sciences which includes majors of Anthropology, Asian Studies, Black Studies, Communication Disorders, Communication Studies, Digital Media Management, Digital Media Production, Economics, English, Environmental Studies, General Studies, Geography, History, and Journalism.
• Saturday at 1 p.m.: College of Liberal Arts & Sciences which includes majors of French, Latin American & Caribbean Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish, Women’s, and Gender and Sexuality Studies.
• Sunday at 9 a.m.: Schools of Fine & Performing Arts and Education
• Sunday at 1 p.m.: Schools of Business and Science & Engineering
