'Wicked' Movie Trailer: Ariana Grande Sings 'Popular,' Cynthia Erivo Previews 'Defying Gravity' - Watch Now!

The official trailer for the Wicked movie musical has been released!

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo star as Glinda and Elphaba in the film adaptation of the beloved Broadway show, which has been in the works for over a decade.

Director Jon M. Chu revealed that the trailer is being released on the birthday of the late “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” author L. Frank Baum. If you didn’t know, Elphaba’s name was created by using the author’s initials, LFB.

The first part of the Wicked movie will be released in theaters on November 27, 2024 with Part Two following on November 26, 2025.

Also starring in the highly anticipated movie are Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard of Oz, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, Peter Dinklage as the voice of Doctor Dillamond, Keala Settle as the new character Miss Coddle, and Bowen Yang and Bronwyn James as Glinda’s friends Pfannee and ShenShen.
