Chrissy Teigen’s Daughter Esti Is Embarking on a New Milestone & Followers Are Getting Weirdly Caught in the Weeds

Chrissy Teigen’s daughter Esti is getting so. big. and her latest milestone only proves that further. Teigen posted an adorable carousel on Instagram yesterday announcing that her 1-year-old had her first day of preschool. In the opening photo, Esti looks as cute as can be in a colorful striped dress and pink cardigan. A white bow holds back some of her curly hair and goes perfectly with her white bow sandals.

In front of her, she holds a big sign that looks like a movie clapboard and says, “Esti’s first day of pre-school” along with the date (May 14, 2024) and her age (1).

“This also happened today ????,” Teigen captioned the post.

After the photo, Teigen posted a clip of Esti playing with a baby doll, giving it a bottle and mimicking a drinking movement with her mouth and making little drinking sounds.

The whole thing is so adorable, but so many followers were distracted by semantics.

“Preschool? She’s 1 lol that’s daycare,” one person commented, garnering 1.3 thousand likes.

“When does preschool start usually? Lol honestly … I don’t have kids but this seems young?” another said.

“Kids have to go to school at 1 now??” yet another wrote.

Y’all! Focus! It’s not about the age and whether or not Teigen was right in calling it preschool. (Psst! Plenty of preschools start that young — plus, the word is literally pre school. As in, before actual school.) It’s about how stinkin’ cute Teigen’s third child looks on her big day and the milestone she’s achieving.

Some people did eventually get that message. Thankfully.

The cookbook author also shares kids Luna, Miles, and Wren with husband John Legend. Wren was famously born via surrogate just five months after his big sister Esti was born, so we may be seeing a similar picture this fall when he has his first day of preschool.
