Person struck by train in Brooklyn; D subway trains delayed: MTA

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train in Brooklyn early Wednesday morning, causing subway service delays on the D line, according to the MTA.

The person was struck at the 62nd Street subway station. Southbound D trains were running on the N line from 36th Street to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue, but service has since resumed.

D trains are now making its regular stops in Brooklyn, according to the MTA.

The condition of the person is unknown. Officials have not confirmed what led to the train striking the person.
