Traffic delays on the George Washington Bridge into New York City
NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) -- There are extensive traffic delays on the George Washington Bridge into New York City during the Wednesday morning commute, officials said.
Both the lower and upper levels on the GWB have delays of over an hour due to volume, according to Port Authority New Jersey on X.
The George Washington Bridge Bus Station was reopened around 10 a.m. after being closed for "police activity" earlier Wednesday morning, according to Port Authority.
It was not immediately clear what caused the traffic delays. However, Wednesday's wet weather made for longer commutes across the tri-state area.
