Wednesday will be warmest day of the week in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The warmest temperatures of the week are happening Wednesday across western Oregon and Washington. Highs will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s. This will make a full eight days in a row with temperatures for Portland that are above normal, which is 69 degrees.

The summer-like 80-degree heat will be short-lived. Each day this week our daytime highs get progressively cooler. By the weekend our temps will be below normal for the first time in more than a week.

Overall, we should remain dry through Saturday. There is a chance for light rain by Sunday, also noting Sunday could be the coolest day of the entire week with highs in the mid 60s. Enjoy the warm, sunny days for now.
