Slovakia's prime minister Robert Fico wounded in shooting

Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico was injured in a shooting incident on Wednesday afternoon and was subsequently hospitalized. The shooting occurred outside the House of Culture in the town of Handlova, where Fico was meeting with supporters. Reports indicate that Fico, aged 59, was hit in the stomach by gunfire. A suspect has been detained, and police have sealed off the scene. Deputy Speaker of Parliament Lubos Blaha confirmed the incident during a parliamentary session and adjourned it indefinitely.
