That’s because beauty fans have been raving about a bargain fake tan from Boots that’s currently been slashed from £12.99 to £6.49.

The ‘Skinny Tan Body Glow Gradual Tan Lotion‘ has gone down a storm online, with people saying it “smells of holidays” and is their “go-to summer product for that gorgeous natural glow.”

The ‘multi-tasking’ lightweight lotion is designed to help hydrate skin while building a gradual glow.

Suitable for vegans and made in the UK, it contains soothing aloe vera and invigorating guarana and features a delicious coconut and vanilla scent that will be reminiscent of holidays in the sun.

Unlike many fake tans on the market, it’s non-sticky and claims to be “perfect for new tanners or experts alike.”

The instructions advise that to get the best results, you should exfoliate your skin 24 hours before application.

Then, it’s as simple as applying evenly to the skin and blending in circular motions, before waiting six to eight hours to allow the tan to develop and then showering it off.

They suggest re-applying daily until you reach your desired colour.

Customers who have been delighted with their results flocked to the review section to praise the bargain buy.

“Natural colour that is easy to apply. Builds up nice and doesn’t leave streaks,” wrote one.

“Leaves skin feeling moisturised and doesn’t leave the smell that can come with some fake tan.”

A second commented: “This tan blends really well and feels moisturising on the skin.

“It has a nice smell unlike some gradual tans.”

Meanwhile, a third noted: “Really easy to apply and leaves a lovely natural glow.

“This will be my go to summer product for that gorgeous natural glow.”

“Left my skin feeling smooth and moisturised. No fake tan smell. Has a coconut and vanilla smell that reminded me of holidays.

“The scent was suitable for my sensitive skin.

“The bottle is a good size, you don’t need much so it will last.”

How To Save Money On Beauty Buys

IF your purse is feeling tighter than ever before and you're looking to save cash on your make-up routine, have you ever thought of trying out beauty dupes?

Here’s five of the best recommended beauty buys that are almost identical to the posh versions, but for a fraction of the price.

FACE BASE: If you can’t afford Charlotte Tilbury‘s £52 Magic Cream, why not try a dupe that costs just £5.49 from Superdrug?

TONE IT UP: If Drunk  Elephant’s £62 Protini moisturiser is out of your price range, you’ll need to check out the new dupe in Home Bargains.

TINTING IT: With Fenty’s ‘game-changer’ skin tint costing an eye-watering £29, a popular supermarket’s affordable alternative might just be the thing for you.

GET COVERED: At £29 for a Tarte concealer, the new Primark dupe is much more affordable at just £3.50.

SPRAY YAY: For those wanting to smell fresh, without the price tag, Aldi’s new Prada and Chloe perfume dupes cost a fraction of the price.
