CROWNED the largest travel and tourism city destination, Orlando is on many Brits’ bucket lists – and with good reason.

The Florida city is home to some of the world’s best theme parks and welcomes more than 70 million tourists every year.

As the most popular city in the Sunshine State, tourists visit it all year round.

Orlando boasts more than 230 days of sunshine annually and over 800 miles of beaches.

So, if you love theme parks, the heat, and sitting by the beach, June might be the perfect month to visit.

To make it even better, June is one of the cheapest months to visit, with many tourists swapping long-haul theme parks for sunkissed European holidays.

Temperatures in Orlando will reach highs of 33C, with an average temperature around 29C daily.

And deals start from just £399pp, including flights and self-catered accommodation.

The cheapest price is on stays at the Maingate Lakeside Resort in Kissimme, departing on June 7.

The resort is only 1.8 miles from the theme parks and is described as a “family-friendly hotel.”

Here are just a few more deals we’ve spotted under £500pp:

  • 7 nights self-catering at Avanti Palms Resort in Orlando Intl Drive, Florida – from £495pp
  • 7 nights self-catering at Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista in Lake Buena Vista, Florida – from £499pp

Once you land, you’ll find the world-renowned parks Disney World and Universal Studios, as well as Legoland and Peppa Pig theme parks.

Disney World has four theme parks and two waterparks covering 25,000 acres – the same size as San Francisco.

Meanwhile, Universal Studios has two parks and 50 rides.

Peppa Pig Theme Park is one of the latest additions and is part of the Legoland resort.

With over 20 rides and attractions, performances, themed eateries, and character meet-and-greets, the theme park is all about Peppa.

Here are the best theme park ticket deals in Orlando:

If you fancy extending your stay to two weeks, Disney World has a new offer with 14-day tickets for the price of 7.

For more deals, we revealed how to book cheap beach holidays over the May half-term – with deals from £172pp.

And we found a family-friendly hotel that’s home to Egypt’s biggest waterpark with 85 slides and 42 pools – and kids stay for free.

Alternatively, we’ve rounded up kid-friendly cruise lines most loved by families, with onboard waterparks, themed activities and live shows.
