Nintendo adds three more classic games to Switch for free – including Super Mario
NINTENDO has been increasing the number of games in the Switch library for over seven years now, with hundreds of titles to buy and play.
But what many people don’t know is that there is a hidden library of almost 250 games that you can play for one low price.
Super Mario is more popular than ever thanks the Super Mario Bros. Movie[/caption]It includes all of Nintendo’s most popular games, from series such as Pokémon, Super Mario, and The Legend of Zelda.
Nintendo Switch Online is Nintendo’s online subscription service which allows people to play online and access a selection of hundreds of classic games.
Three games have just been added to the cheaper subscription tier, including a popular game from the Super Mario series.
The highlight of these new additions is Super Mario Land, the original Super Mario game for the Game Boy.
It’s based on the classic Super Mario Bros. for the NES, but has been switched up for the smaller screen of the Game Boy.
Run through levels, collect power-ups, and take down Bowser in classic Mario style.
Baseball is another Game Boy title that has been added to Nintendo Switch Online, and is also based on its NES counterpart.
This is a simple baseball simulator, but may give you the nostalgia of playing these old-school games.
The final game that was added to Nintendo Switch Online is Alleyway, one of the Game Boy’s launch titles.
This is a simple Breakout clone and is perfect for playing in small stretches.
All three games are now available with Nintendo Switch Online, and you can download them for free via the Nintendo eShop if you have a subscription.
Search for and download the Game Boy app in the eShop on your Switch, and from there, you can select the game you want to play.
