EC summons Andhra chief secretary, DGP over post-poll violence in state

The Election Commission of India has summoned the state's chief secretary and DGP to explain the administration's failure to contain post-poll violence in Andhra Pradesh. The EC has reminded the state government of the Model Code of Conduct and asked the officials to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
