CDTA Nature Bus returning for fourth year
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Capital District Transportation Authority's Nature Bus is returning for another season. The service is in its fourth year.
It is meant to connect more people to nature during the spring and summer months. The complimentary service runs every Saturday from May 25 through October 5.
Stops include:
- Thacher State Park in Voorheesville
- Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm in Albany
- Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail in Slingerlands
- DEC's Five Rivers Environmental Education Center in Delmar
- Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy’s ADA Accessible Fisher Trail in partnership with
DEC’s Five Rivers Education Center in Slingerlands
The nature bus is also expanding into Schenectady County for 10 Saturdays running from July 6 through September 7. Locations include the Village of Scotia’s Collins Park, the City of Schenectady’s Central Park, the Hudson-Mohawk Bird Club’s Reist Sanctuary and Kelly Adirondack Center, and the Albany Pine Bush’s Discovery Center.
