Schenectady Day Nursery names playground after longtime supporter

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady Day Nursery paid tribute to a longtime supporter by dedicating a playground to her. The nursery dedicated the playground to the late Jane Golub, who was involved with the nursery since 1992 and served on its board until her death in 2019.

Schenectady Day Nursery Exec. Dir. Diane Fisher explained the level of commitment Golub had for the nursery.

"She freely gave of herself in every possible way," Fisher said. "Sharing her time, talent and treasure to enable the nursery to keep climbing and growing into what it has become today."

Fisher went on to describe the new playground as a "tangible reminder" of all that Golub did for the nursery.
