Man dies in house fire in Harford County on Tuesday morning

A man died in a house fire Tuesday morning in Harford County.

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded to a fire in the 100 block of Marshall Drive in Forest Hill around 11 a.m., the Office of the State Fire Marshal said in a news release.

Firefighters found heavy fire coming from the home and, after extinguishing the bulk of the flames, located a victim inside the living room. The victim, who investigators believe lived in the home, was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to determine the exact cause of death, the state fire marshal said.
