Last summer was the hottest since the height of the Roman Empire 2,000 years ago

A new study from the University of Cambridge finds global warming has become much more extreme in recent years.

According to new research published in the journal Nature, scientists from the University of Cambridge and the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz found that 2023 was the hottest summer in 2,000 years, or, since the height of the Roman Empire.
