Village of Ravena to begin hydrant flushing

RAVENA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Village of Ravena's Department of Public Works and Water Department will start hydrant flushing on the lower service line on Wednesday. It will begin around midnight and run throughout the day.

The flushing duration is undetermined. Residents of Ravena and Coeymans will be affected by the flushing and should run the faucet at 15-minute intervals until the water runs clear if discoloration is experienced. The village recommends residents avoid doing laundry during the flushing.
