Serious injuries reported in Route 4 crash involving two motorcycles

Serious injuries were reported in a crash involving two motorcycles on Route 4 in Goshen on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash was reported at 1:07 p.m. at the intersection of Beach Hill Road, according to Connecticut State Police and the state Department of Transportation.

According to the DOT, Route 4 was closed Tuesday afternoon in the area of the crash. The DOT did not have an estimate as to how long the closure would be in place.
