My 4 simple steps to baby-soft feet are a dermatologist secret – the most important accessory locks it in overnight
A DERMATOLOGIST has weighed in on achieving baby-soft feet overnight.
She said her bedtime tip takes four steps, including one crucial accessory.
Dr. Aamna Adel (@aamnaadel) discussed her technique in a viral video on TikTok.
“Dermatologist secret for baby-soft feet,” she said.
The dermatologist’s tip works fast, with intense results while you sleep.
She used just a few common products to keep feet softer than ever — just in time for open-toe shoe season.
HOW IT’S DONE
The first step entails simply soaking one’s feet in warm water for just about 30 minutes.
She follows up with a moisturizer, but the ingredients matter.
“Apply a moisturizer which contains lactic acid, salicylic acid, or urea,” she said.
She recommended those ingredients for their ability to break down dead skin cells.
The exfoliative properties of lactic acid, salicylic acid, and urea facilitate skin regeneration — exactly what will achieve that “baby-soft” feel.
She follows up moisturizing by applying a “thick layer” of Vaseline over the feet.
Dr. Adel completes the nighttime ritual with a pair of cotton socks to lock in the products.
She said results will become visible within a few weeks.
