Adi Kailash yatra begins, first batch of pilgrims arrives at Dharchula base camp

The Adi Kailash yatra began with 49 pilgrims heading to Jolingkong. The temple at 18,500 feet attracts devotees, with the yatra lasting 7 days per batch for 500 pilgrims. Operations are from May to June, closed in July and August, and resume in September.
