Shooting in Ville Platte leaves one in the hospital

VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) – The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital after being shot 3 time.
According to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, a shooting happened at Hickory and Chataignier Road and someone was hit by gunfire 3 times. The victim has been transported to a local hospital, but no information on the extent of their injuries. Officials are currently on the scene investigating.
