Severe weather causes mass power outages around Acadiana

SLEMCO is reporting they currently have just under 7,000 without power. They also report their outage management system is down, so if you need to report an outage, call 1-888-275-3626.
Due to the gas fire, Evangeline Gas has 1,100 customers without gas and will remain without it Tuesday morning. This affects customers in Vidrine, Ville Platte, Riddel and Pine Point.
