Tej Pratap Viral Video: A video of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav’s son, Tej Pratap Yadav has gone viral on the internet in which he can be seen pushing away a party worker from the stage during an event. Tej Pratap was accompanying his sister, Misa Bharti, during her nomination paper filing from the Patlipura seat on Monday. The brother-sister duo was seen on stage waving to supporters during the nomination filing procedure.

In the viral video, Tej Pratap can be seen grabbing the RJD worker and pushing him hard. The worker nearly fell off the stage. Other workers then took him away from the stage.

After the video went viral, Tej Pratap clarified on X (formerly Twitter) that was not his intention to push the worker, but had to at that moment.

“The public is most important for me. Respecting the public is our duty,” he said in the post.

“I want to tell those people who are making my video viral that a coin has two sides. You have seen one side. On the other side, the candidate Misa Bharti and my mother were together and he came in between them and pushed me. My hand was injured. He pushed me… I was forced to push him aside to save myself. My intention was never to hurt anyone,” Yadav further wrote.

After filing nomination papers, Misa Bharti slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating Centre has not done anything for Bihar.

“PM Modi has been ruling for the last 10 years; people gave him two chances. Had he done anything for the country, he would not have to hold a roadshow,” she said.

Misa Bharti will lock horns against the saffron party’s Ram Kripal Yadav. Voting in the Pataliputra constituency will be held on June 1.

In 2014, Ram Kripal found himself at odds with Lalu Yadav’s choice to pick Misa Bharti as the nominee for the Patliputra seat. This disagreement led him to reconsider his loyalties and eventually, he decided to join the BJP.
