Ekin-Su’s pal reveals truth about James Argent romance amid rumours Love Island legend is dating Towie hunk
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s is said to have hit back at rumours of a romance with Towie’s James ‘Arg’ Argent.
A close friend of Ekin-Su confirmed to The Sun that the Love Island star, 29, is not romantically involved with the Essex lad, 36, and they have been left laughing at the rumours.
It comes after reports that the pair had grown close and had enjoyed “dates” at each other’s house.
But a pal of Ekin-Su has claimed this is not the case and told The Sun: “James and Ekin share the same management team so it’s inevitable that they’d be linked, but they are not dating.
“They have had a little laugh to themselves about the rumours they are together, but they both remain single.
“Ekin is focusing on herself since Celebrity Big Brother and has kept a low profile in recent weeks but she has some exciting things lined up for the summer.”
A spokesperson told The Sun: “The pair both deny dating claims, and continue to be represented by the same manager.”
It comes after claims that Ekin-Su and James were in the early stages of a romance – after he reportedly offered her a should to cry on following the backlash from her Celebrity Big Brother stint in March.
A source told the Mail: “Their friendship developed into something stronger and they started to spend more time together, even passionately kissing.
“It’s still early days and they both appreciate they need to take it slow, having come out of high-profile relationships in the past six months… but there’s no denying the feelings and chemistry between them.”
It comes after Ekin-Su and Davide Sanclimenti‘s split in January after they were hit by cheating allegations.
While reality star James split from his model girlfriend Stella Turian, 19, back in November.
Meanwhile reality star Ekin distanced herself from all things Big Brother after being voted out of the house.
She skipped the CBB final after being grilled by hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu on sister show Late and Live following her exit.
Studio guest Layton Williams also criticised her after she complained at being edited unfairly, despite not having seen the footage.
She also didn’t attend ITV‘s Lorraine‘s scheduled appearance.
After her no show, Ekin-Su then revealed she would be taking a break from the spotlight.
Her ill-fated time on the reality show saw her slammed for her “flirty” antics towards co-star Nikita Kuzmin, 26, and her negative attitude when quizzed about her Love Island past.
However, she claimed to be “refreshed and recharged” and she now appears to be back on top.
