Rain showers & rumbles return to Columbus area

Good Monday Evening,
After a beautiful start to the work week with above normal temps, we are going to see changes heading into the mid-week with rain returning. Tonight, expect clouds to increase across our area, with a chance of showers later and increasing toward morning, with lows in the upper 50s to near 60.
Tuesday as a slow moving low moves toward our area, and a weak front drops through, we will see increased chances of showers and a few rumbles of thunder through the day with high temps climbing back to near normal in the lower 70s. Showers and a few rumbles will be possible Tuesday night and through the day on Wednesday as the low finally starts to move through the state and region.
Highs on Wednesday will remain near normal in the lower 70s with that rain chance around. Thursday, we will see a brief period of drying weather, with highs back into the middle to upper 70s with some clearing. We will cloud back up Thursday night into Friday, with rain returning with our next system on Friday.
High temps will still be slightly above normal on Friday, with most of us climbing into the middle to upper 70s. Over the weekend, we will see rain showers trying to exit our area. It is still possible a few isolated pop-ups could occur on Saturday, but highs will remain in the upper 70s. We will see more sunshine on Sunday with highs back into the lower 80s.
Rain chances, with a few rumbles will return to the forecast on Monday with high temps still above normal around 80.
