Donald Trump Jr. becomes third to smear judge's daughter and witness despite gag order
Donald Trump Jr. smeared the daughter of Donald Trump's hush money trial judge Monday.
The former president's son joined right-wing podcaster Charlie Kirk as former attorney Michael Cohen testified about how he arranged payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels to cover up an alleged affair with Donald Trump.
New York Justice Juan Merchan has issued a gag order preventing Donald Trump from causing anyone to discuss court staff, their families, potential witnesses, or the jury.
But the gag order did not stop Donald Trump Jr. from attacking Cohen and the judge's daughter.
"The judge's daughter, in this case, being one of the largest Democrat fundraisers in the world," he complained. "Like it's unheard of... But I think what the reality is that people across America, they are seeing it."
He then brought up Cohen.
"The star witness in this case who's testifying as we speak is Michael Cohen, a convicted perjurer," the younger Trump said. "He literally went to jail for lying to Congress, amongst other things."

"He's been recently referred back to the Department of Justice," he added. "Of course, they won't do anything because the Department of Justice is literally working with these prosecutors."
It was unclear if Donald Trump had prompted his son to violate the gag order.
Earlier in the day, Trump Jr.'s brother, Eric Trump, tweeted attacks aimed at Cohen while seated in the courthouse.
Trump ally Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) also attacked the judge's daughter while taking a break from attending the trial Monday.
