Spring vibes make their return to start the week!

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — We shift from a summer-like weather pattern to more seasonal daytime highs around the Willamette Valley on Monday afternoon as we look to hover right around the low 70s.

So spring vibes make their return to start the week!

We're going to be riding the daytime high rollercoaster, going from a record high of 91 degrees on Friday to the upper 60s Monday afternoon.

Along with the cooler daytime highs Monday, we'll also have more clouds above. But even with the increasing cloud cover, we're still expecting to stay dry. And this dry streak that we're on (6 days and counting) will roll on through into our new week.

In fact, over the next week, there's no real increase in rain chances around Portland.

And then by Tuesday another ridge of high pressure is expected to return to the PNW, bringing warmer conditions with clear skies also returning to Portland.

By mid-week, Portland's forecast is calling for those afternoon temps to return to the low 80s with plenty of sunshine.

As for our the pollen in the air around Portland -- allergy sufferers could see a little bit of relief come Monday before the pollen count makes it way back into the medium to high category.
