Fox will be airing the 2025 Super Bowl in February of next year, and they just announced which TV show will air in the coveted post-Super Bowl timeslot!
Each year, NFL, CBS, and Fox rotate who gets to air the Super Bowl to keep the ratings fair and even. The Super Bowl attracts millions and millions of viewers each year. This upcoming year, Fox will be airing the Super Bowl.
The TV program that airs after the Super Bowl always gets a big ratings boost. In 2024, that show was CBS’ Tracker, which was quickly renewed after getting great ratings the first few weeks.
This upcoming year, Fox has decided to air an episode of their new series, Rescue: HI-Surf! Fox describes the series as a “pulse-pounding Hawaii lifeguard drama.”

Here’s the synopsis, from Fox: Rescue: HI-Surf follows the personal and professional lives of the heavy-water lifeguards who patrol and protect the North Shore of O’ahu—the most famous and dangerous stretch of coastline in the world. Each episode will feature these dedicated, heroic, and adrenaline-seeking first-responders saving lives in the difficult and often life-threatening conditions of Hawaii’s Seven Mile Miracle. The series stars Robbie Magasiva, Arielle Kebbel, Adam Demos, Kekoa Kekumano, Alex Aiono, and Zoe Cipres. In addition, Sea Shimooka, Shawn Hatosy, and Ian Anthony Dale will star in recurring roles.
